Teranap BGM– Landfill Cap

Fort St. John, British Columbia – Silverberry Landfill

Who:  Tervita Corporation

What:  An 85,000 square meter landfill closure cap using  Teranap 431 bituminous geomembrane manufactured (BGM) by Siplast. The cap needed to be installed and completed during the winter months with the likeliness that some or most of it would remain uncovered and exposed for up to 10 years. Teranap 431 was the material of choice for this particular project because it is ideal for winter installations involving temperatures under or around -20°C. Overall, the project went well and was completed in 37 days.

Why Titan:  Titan worked with Tervita and Associated Engineering on the selection and approval of the Teranap 431 material in this project , and offered fair and competitive pricing with a focus on service, project management and respect for scheduling.
