Canola Processing Facility– 2 Firewater Liquid Tanks

Camrose, Alberta

Who: Cargill Limited

What: Supplied and installed two (46’x34’) bolted firewater holding tanks for Cargill’s new canola processing facility near Camrose, Alberta. The tanks were built using bolted epoxy coated steel panel walls and floor, and a geodesic aluminum dome roof which were insulated using Titan’s propriety insulation system.

In the event of a fire these tanks supply water to the facility’s fire suppression system however they can also be used for process water. With a light, continuous draw and filling feature the tanks are self-mixing and do not require a mixing pump or heaters to avoid freezing.

Why Titan: Using our scope of expertise, we were able to effectively advise the client on insulation and installation procedures that best meet their needs. Once on site we worked with the client through challenging circumstances to ensure successful completion of the project.
